Not everyone who needs dental services is comfortable making an appointment to visit a traditional office. Mobile services allow our partner, Medical Teams International, to be flexible and take services directly to the communities where people can access services more easily.
Navigating the health care system and finding affordable care can be ex-tremely difficult. Project Access Northwest connects uninsured and un-derinsured individuals to healthcare services such as specialty care, which they otherwise would not be able afford. Child, adolescent and young adult mental health is one of Verdant’s key strategic priorities. Center for Human Services School-Based Mental Health program in the Edmonds School District greatly reduces barriers to mental health resources by making access to licensed therapists easy and affordable during school hours.
Students attending Edmonds College can come from lower income backgrounds and or have children in their care. The Edmonds College Food Pantry is a resource for food and hygiene products so students and their families can access nutritious food while balancing academic and other living expenses.
